JPP makes weekly plans for their responsibilities and they perform the same duties as the lawyers/advocacy officers in the organization. The interns are required to write initial drafts of mercy petitions, prepare training manuals after consulting different stakeholders, visit courts and clients and accompany the lawyers for jail visits.
Law Graduates:Law graduates are hired in different positions including Case Work Lawyer and Advocacy Officer. Their hiring is done on a project-to-project basis. The candidates who have previously done internships with the organization are considered for jobs. JPP does not bifurcate based on designation/title, however, they have some hierarchy for internal reference. JPP did not disclose their salary range, they mentioned that their salaries are market competitive.
