Associate:The firm advertises vacancies through word-of-mouth or social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn). The hiring mechanism for associates consists of three parts. The candidates are shortlisted for interviews based on their resumes. When candidates visit the firm for their interview they are required to answer a small questionnaire. Their first interview is with two senior associates. If their response to the questionnaire is satisfactory and both senior associates are satisfied with their interview, the candidates are shortlisted for the second (final) interview with a partner. The salary range for fresh LUMS graduates is 40,000 PKR to 60,000 PKR per month. The candidates are hired on a three-month probation and after successful completion of their probation, the firm gives them health insurance. The firm gives an annual increment of a minimum of 15% (or more based on performance) to its associates. The associates also receive an annual bonus equivalent to their one-month salary. The firm offers a 10 percent share as a finders fee to anyone who brings business to the firm. The firm offers a partnership track to its lawyers/associates.
