Section 1: Basic Information

Tanveer Ahmad & Associates is an all-service firm working since 1979. Its head office is located in Karachi and they offer representation in Lahore, Islamabad, Hyderabad and Larkana. It undertakes intellectual property, tax, property law, civil litigation, regulatory compliance, personal law, industrial disputes, and both white-collar and hardcore criminal work.

Section 3: Hiring Mechanism

Internships:The firm offers internships. Interns are required to do research, drafting and court visits. Usually, there is no stipend for interns but exceptions may be made on a case-to-case basis. The duration of the internship is decided mutually between the firm and the interns.

Associate:Hiring is on need basis only. The candidates send in applications through references or word-of-mouth and are offered the position after a successful interview with a partner. Associates receive a monthly stipend of PKR 20-30,000 and a performance-based share in the case fee. This percentage share can go up to 90% for extraordinary performance. The firm offers a partnership track. The firm follows a hybrid work structure and the associates have the option of working from home or the office depending on the nature of the work.
